Join us for a fun and informative gouache painting workshop. In this hands-on, beginner friendly class, instructor Ruby will guide participants in exploring the unique qualities of Gouache. She will guide you through the fundamentals of the medium such as color mixing, layering, and brush techniques. All supplies are provided for students to create a unique and cozy summer cafe by the sea. All materials are provided.

It has been proven to sharpen memory, focus, and strategic thinking skills. Sheri will guide participants through the rules, vocabulary, and card reading to gain a better understanding of the game. Join mosaic making expert Kimberly Joy in creating a Bee and Butterly Hydration Station. Utilizing a terracotta pot and saucer, mosaic tesserae (or tiles), silicone and glass globs, participants will create a Hydration Station that can be nestled in a flower bed enabling insects to hydrate safely. A wildlife hydration station provides critical relief from extreme temperatures. It sustains local biodiversity by offering a safe drinking source for birds, bees, and mammals, aids in pest control, and creates vital microhabitats for amphibians and insects.

Through intuitive exploration and shifting perspectives, participants will be guided through a reflective, hands-on process to uncover and express inner narratives. Students will learn to blend diverse elements like paint, paper, fabric, and found objects to create a unique mixed-media visual artifact representing your inner experience, intuition and personal narratives.
Reading the multi-faceted and emotional personal journeys of others can breathe inspiration and a sense of knowing and connection into the fabric of our own lives. What personal experiences of yours are waiting to be expressed and shared as brave declarations of existence, learning, and evolution? In this workshop participants will learn a variety of creative writing and thinking processes that may be applied to any personal memoir writing project. By combining playful thoughtful explorations with basic embodiment and breath practices, you'll learn to create uniquely meaningful and informative artistic expressions in the genre of memoir writing, bringing to the surface deeply held knowing and awareness. No prior writing experience is needed. All materials are included although students are encouraged to bring their own notebook, sketchbook, or laptop.
