Your New Viewpoint is Out Now!

The November 2025 issue of The Viewpoint highlights the Curtis Park community’s strong spirit of collaboration, creativity, and civic engagement. The Sierra Curtis Neighborhood Association (SCNA) continues to strengthen neighborhood ties—both within Curtis Park and across Sacramento—through outreach with other neighborhood associations and community initiatives. This issue celebrates the success of Sip, Savor & Support, a reimagined wine-tasting fundraiser that drew more than 250 attendees to Sierra 2 Center, as well as board nominations and updates on new Viewpoint editorial leadership. Readers meet new Sierra 2 staff members, explore local features like Moonshine & Co., and catch up on Senior Center programs and Learnery classes. Additional stories include a new running company opening in Curtis Park, a community tree-planting project, and tributes to beloved residents Ophelia “Fifi” Zeff and Sam Morishima. The issue closes with a celebration of Bret Harte Elementary’s record attendance, showcasing how community partnerships continue to thrive across Sacramento’s neighborhoods.
