Curtis Fest Artisan Spotlight: Maggie Devos

Maggie Devos creates repurposed and upcycled jewelry and clothing inspired by the colors, history and folklore of Frida Kahlo.

Her clothing line, including vests, jeans, jean jackets, classic jackets, corsets and handbags are embellished artfully with jewels, appliques, and image transfers.

The 13th Annual Curtis Fest will feature over 75 local artisans under the beautiful canopy of trees at Curtis Park.  Artists and makers include painters, sculptors, textile artists, and wood workers.  Live music, food trucks, a kids Zone and a pet refreshment station makes this a great way to finish out the summer.

This free event is open to the public and followed by Music in the Park. Come to our free event to support local artists, bring a picnic blanket and chairs to sit on while you watch the musicians or eat your food truck tasties from Kados Asian GrillMasa Giuseria, Portu-goal Street Food or Cowtown Creamery.
