Curtis Fest Artisan Spotlight: Steve Bethel of MEnTAL CREATIONS

Steve started MEnTAL CREATIONS in December of 2011 after taking a welding class. Soon after he started painting the creatures and found they took on even more personality. His creatures aim to entice smiles and giggles in their keepers. Each creature is unique as are the folks who adopts them.

The 13th Annual Curtis Fest will feature over 75 local artisans under the beautiful canopy of trees at Curtis Park.  Artists and makers include painters, sculptors, textile artists, and wood workers.  Live music, food trucks, a kids Zone and a pet refreshment station makes this a great way to finish out the summer.

This free event is open to the public and followed by Music in the Park. Come to our free event to support local artists, bring a picnic blanket and chairs to sit on while you watch the musicians or eat your food truck tasties from Kados Asian GrillMasa Giuseria, Portu-goal Street Food or Cowtown Creamery.
