Artist Interview with Tonja Wilcox Art & Illustration

Why do you craft/make? How did you learn?

I make things simply because I feel compelled to create things. That creative bug in me is strong. I am 100% percent self taught. I learn from everything around me!

What is your favorite product or piece you’ve made lately?

I’m really in love with my new California Poppy design and my new Black and White 3D Sacramento Skyline.

What sorts of things are inspiring you right now? Where do you look for inspiration?

I’m currently inspired by Sacramento and all the creativity in this thriving city. I am working on a bunch of new local iconic places around Sacramento.
