Thanks to all the neighbors who came out for out first free concert in the Music in the Park summer series at William Curtis Park. Crowds gathered to enjoy the Afro-Latin funk sounds of Sang Matiz. A huge thank you to Marco Martinez, District 5 intern who took these great event photos!

Music in the Park concerts, hosted by SCNA, are held annually the last Sundays of June, July and August. Series sponsors are Cook Realty, SMUD and City Councilmember Jay Schenirer, who will again dish out Gunther’s Ice Cream throughout the evening.
