On September 12, 2020, the Sierra Curtis Neighborhood Association held an educational forum for current Board members on Measure A, the “Strong Mayor” ballot measure. Councilmember Jay Schenirer presented the “pro” position, and Rosanna Herber, SMUD Board of Directors member and ex-SCNA President, represented the “con” side. Ex-SCNA President Patrick Soluri was the Moderator.
It was a lively and informative debate, with Mr. Schenirer and Ms. Herber stating the for and against arguments. Board members asked a number of diverse questions. This forum was recorded at can be seen here:
