Curtis Fest Artisan Spotlight: Little Relics

Forged with Hammer and Fire

Specializing in unique hand crafted gifts and art by ultra-local artisans and artists Little Relics Boutique & Galleria provides a wide range of prices and tastes.  Monthly art shows exhibit and sell Sacramento Regional talent with many cultivated from Midtown, Sacramento.

Susan Rabinovitz, Artisan, Gallery Owner, Midtowner, Dog Lover & Mom, created Little Relics years ago and weathered the art festivals, studio artist stints and other business endeavors to extend her jewelry business into a highly successful Boutique & Galleria.  While showcasing local fine art and sculpture, Susan utilizes the back gallery space as her artisan workshop and may been seen soldering or forging precious metal into fabulous wearable art.

Much of Susan’s jewelry is forged with hammer and fire in the traditional jewelry craftsmanship process.  Susan is an accomplished (Graduate Jeweler Certified) jeweler trained at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts, San Francisco. Her inspirations arrive in the most spontaneous of moments…walking or biking around Midtown Sacramento, looking at architecture or flower parts and even keeping her work bench a mess to peer over to view any haphazard patterns from rocks and metal being strewn for that spectacular creation. Lately, her work is highly specialized to her customers’ needs and desires for custom pieces and wedding sets.  To add to Susan’s skillset, jewelry repair and ring sizing is also available for a fee based service. Her Boutique & Galleria is located at 908 21st Street, between I & J, in Midtown Sacramento–Open Mon through  Fri 11-6, Sat-Sun 11-4.
