Artist Interview with Brian & Brandi Woods of Driftwoods Clothing

Why do you craft/make? How did you learn?

Creating things makes us happy. First learned to screen print at Sacramento City College in an intro to printmaking class. Thereafter it was all self taught.

What is your favorite product or piece you’ve made lately?

A whale tale block print, also transferred to silk screen. Currently printed on tea towels and totes but look out for a t-shirt version soon!

What sorts of things are inspiring you right now? Where do you look for inspiration?

Currently inspired by nature and the tranquil fall weather. Sacramento is such a wonderfully diverse city and rich with culture its hard not be inspired by small everyday experiences.

Are you bringing/selling anything special at the craft fair?

We have some great new zip hoodies for sale.
