Young Tree Pruning class at Sierra 2 Center, Saturday, Jan. 11, 9am-10:30am in the Garden Room

Your tree is an investment that helps save energy, produces oxygen, and improves the neighborhood in many ways. If you have a newly planted or young tree, it’s important to know how to train it.  Proper training during the first 10 years will ensure long term health for the tree.

Arborist Dan Pskowski will give a free, young shade tree pruning clinic on Saturday, January 11, 9am-10:30am in the Garden Room at Sierra 2 Center.  Pskowski, a SCNA board member and Curtis Park resident, will go over structural pruning, young tree care, and, weather permitting, give a hands-on pruning demonstration.

For more details, contact Dan Pskowski at or call 451-1033.
