Curtis Fest Artisan Spotlight: The Good Scoop

At The Good Scoop, all of our ice cream is made in very small batches, just 1.5 gallons at a time. We always look for local seasonally available ingredients first. When one flavor is gone we bring out the next. Stop by today to see what new flavors we come up with.

All of our ice cream is made with Straus Family Creamery organic dairy. We have a few coconut milk ice creams and sorbets available daily.

The Good Scoop is a Davis based, Artisan small batch ice cream shop that is committed to utilizing the abundance of local ingredients that have helped name our region the Farm to Fork capital of America. The Good Scoop is in one of the most agriculturally productive regions in the world, surrounded by amazing local foods and farms. We utilize our locally available agricultural products to bring you the highest quality Artisan ice cream.

Our ice cream is hand made from the finest all-natural ingredients, emphasizing local and organic sources.

The 12th Annual Curtis Fest will feature over 75 local artisans under the beautiful canopy of trees at Curtis Park. Artists and makers include painters, sculptors, textile artists, and wood workers. Live music, food trucks, a petting zoo, children’s fairy and a pet refreshment station makes this a great way to finish out the summer.

This free event is open to the public and followed by Music the Park from 6-8pm. Don’t forget a picnic blanket and chairs to sit on while you watch the musicians or eat your food truck tasties from Culinerdy Cruzer, Kados Asian Grill, Masa Guiseria, and Cowtown Creamery.

Thank our sponsors for their support!
