Curtis Fest Artisan Spotlight: Petals In Silver

Petals In Silver specializes in creating unique handcrafted jewelry. Soumia, the owner, is based in Davis, California. She started creating handmade jewelry as a hobby in 2010 has been showcasing stunning art pieces in local art & craft fairs, ever since.

Soumia is originally from the beautiful state of Kerala, which is the southernmost state in India. Kerala is famous for its long shorelines with serene beaches, backwaters and lush green landscapes. The beauty of her birthplace and heritage inspires the colors, design and art form in each of her creations. She selects gemstones beneficial to mind and body.

The 13th Annual Curtis Fest will feature over 75 local artisans under the beautiful canopy of trees at Curtis Park.  Artists and makers include painters, sculptors, textile artists, and wood workers.  Live music, food trucks, a kids Zone and a pet refreshment station makes this a great way to finish out the summer.

This free event is open to the public and followed by Music in the Park. Come to our free event to support local artists, bring a picnic blanket and chairs to sit on while you watch the musicians or eat your food truck tasties from Kados Asian GrillMasa Giuseria, or Cowtown Creamery.
