Longtime SCNA board member Andrea Rosen of Portola Way announced the birth of her first grandchild, Hannah Clare Rosen. She was born July 30 in Los Angeles to Andrea’s son, Ben, who grew up in Curtis Park, and his wife, Madeline Wander. They live in Northeast Los Angeles.
Ben has been a developer of affordable housing projects since completing his studies at UC Davis in 2006 and now serves as the director of development at the Skid Row Housing Trust, and Madeline is a senior data analyst at University of Southern California’s program for regional environmental quality.
On a recent visit to Sacramento, Hannah was blessed at Congregation B’nai Israel. She received her Hebrew name, Chanah Meira, at a home ceremony in Los Angeles.
Dad can only say, “She’s awesome, and I love every minute with her!”
