Japanese taiko drumming is a powerful performing art form that combines rhythm and movement with language, history, and culture. Through studying taiko, students learn respect, perseverance, teamwork, accountability and responsibility. Professional instructor Kristy Oshiro has over 25 years of experience. Youth ages 7 and up are welcome. No experience is necessary, all materials are provided. Classes are held in 4-week sessions on Tuesdays from 6-7pm in Studio 1. Cost is $60 cash with a sibling discount of 50%.
