Practicing drawing one plant at a time.
Saturday, September 11th
10am-12pm in Room 7
Fees: $25 / person
Advanced registration is required.
Join local artist & instructor Cara Gregor as she teaches you a bit about drawing! This class is focused on drawing succulents, with step-by-step instructions for how to draw the popular desert plant and how to use color and shading to bring them to life!
These drawing skills and practice strengthen your hand-eye coordination and change the way you see the world (new color, shapes, and textures, oh my!)
We will provide drawing paper, pencils and black fine tip pens. Please bring your own coloring supplies. Anything will work: colored pencils, Prismacolor pens, Crayola markers, or even crayons!
You may be able to find these supplies on Amazon, Blick, or Michaels.
About the Instructor:
Cara Gregor is the artist behind Cara Emilia specializing in painting, illustration, and handmade jewelry. Cara is a self-taught, intuitive, artist living in Sacramento, California with her husband, Benjamin, and her little dog, Jacques Cousteau. Her work is inspired by bright colors (sometimes neon… most of the time at least a little pop of neon), bold, organic composition, nature, yoga, and adventures exploring this amazing planet. She aims to bring joy to others with her intuitive process, hoping to make this world just a bit brighter, a bit lighter, and much more fun.
