Let’s have some fun while we craft holiday cards made with love!

Mondays, December 7th & 14th
5:30 – 7:00 p.m. on Zoom
Fees: $15 / person

Advanced registration required; Registration closes day-of classes at 4:30pm.

We will email you a Zoom meeting link & password the day before or the day of the class. Currently, online registration is the only way to join our classes. We use Constant Contact and PayPal to process online registrations, though you do not need a PayPal account, just a credit card.

This year, it’s more important than ever to reach out to our loved ones and keep in touch! A sweet handmade card is guaranteed to bring smiles to faces this holiday season.  Join local artist & instructor Cara Gregor for some fun as we make & design our own holiday cards for a personal, handmade touch!

Cara will demonstrate 4 designs over the course of two classes. You can come to one or both classes, following along to her drawing instruction or use the time to customize the designs to your own style. You’ll sketch out your designs on paper then transfer them on your card stock cards with graphite paper, where you’ll complete your card with color & texture!

December 7th: Snowy Landscape & Happy Holidays

In this class we’re tackling woodsy fir trees and festive homes as well as a simple card reading “Happy Holidays.”

December 14th: Stack of Gifts and Mug of Cocoa

Draw a pile of gifts with us and warm & inviting mug of holiday cocoa for your handmade holiday cards.

For each class, you should have:

  • Paper for sketching your designs (computer paper, drawing paper, sketch paper all work)
  • Pencil & eraser
  • Cardstock of your choosing for the cards (Michaels sells affordable card stock!)*
  • Graphite paper to transfer your designs onto the cards (Buy on Amazon or check your local art store)
  • Black fine tip pen (recommended: Pigma Micron 01, 03, and/or 05) or Sharpies in fine and ultra-fine point)
  • Coloring tools like crayons, colored pencils, markers, artist-grade markers, paint.

*You may want to cut & fold 2-3 cards before class.

Benefits of our Let’s Draw Classes:

Our drawing classes help you build up your skills, techniques, and practice strengthening your hand-eye coordination. Once you start an art practice, it’ll change the way you see the world (new color, shapes, and textures, oh my!)

Spend time with us learning new skills and enjoying the stress-melting benefits of creative therapy and art-making. At the very least, you can leave the problems of the world behind for an hour or so while you have a little fun!
