Paint with local artist & instructor Cara Gregor as she demonstrates the step-by-step process to creating a koi fish painting. You’ll learn about blending as you create the watery background, discover how to add texture when painting on the koi fish, and give the piece some dimension with the greenery that sits atop the water.
This class is great for beginner & intermediate painters and anyone aged 12+.
Spend time with us learning new skills and enjoying the stress-melting benefits of creative therapy and art-making. At the very least, you can leave the problems of the world behind for an hour or two while you have a little fun!
Here’s the project:
Canvas, sized 16×20 or any desired size
Starter Acrylic Brushes
Acrylic Paint (see below)
Cup of water

Love for Cara’s Virtual Drawing Classes
“I liked how she broke it down into simple steps and details like the picture only had 3 colors, but the way she used them gave her flat image so much dimension. She made it feel like anyone can draw, you don’t have to have some amazing ability to do it.” – Online Drawing Student
We hope you add a little color to your days indoors with a Cara Gregor art class!
