Join Tonja Wilcox for a couple hours of pure creativity, using blobs of watercolor paint, a fine line pen, and a little imagination to make whimsical birds and flowers. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to pair ink and watercolors together to enhance details, figures, and outlines in your paintings. Introducing ink will take your watercolor painting to a whole new level! Use your doodle skills to make your own wall art or custom greeting cards!
Beginning to intermediate painters welcome! All materials are provided.
Watercolor paint generally has a translucent quality, which is great for ethereal or emotive effects. Blending colors is fun, and you can also layer imagery so that what is underneath shows through. Watercolors are generally more affordable than some other paint mediums and are lightweight for easy transporting. This workshop will arm you with the tips & tricks to maximize your watercolor experience.
