In honor of National Pickle month, come learn the ins and outs of how to pickle vegetables! In this class, we will be going over how to prep your materials, prepare your ingredients, and how to properly pressurize your pickles so they will last you through the winter. We will also go over a quick pickle or fridge pickle recipe.
What we provide: Pickling cans, spices, and liquid will be provided.
What you provide: Please bring 1/2 LB of the vegetable you would like to pickle (make sure it is extra fresh and no frozen vegetables allowed). We recommend hitting the farmers market in the morning before class.
