Heera Kulkarni, a yoga instructor in the Wellness Program, has been sharing culinary advice and healthy recipes with the seniors on and off for a variety of events. Her last Spice it Up workshop at February’s Free Friday event had 20 participants, which showed the high interest in culinary classes amongst local seniors. Heera’s new monthly class is called Culinary Adventures and will feature nutritional advice, culinary tips, recipes and light meals.
