In this workshop, you’ll learn basic embroidery as you follow instructor Cate step-by-step to create this brooch project. The project includes a few common embroidery stitches and beadwork techniques. You’ll also learn how to finish off your embroidered pomegranate on felt so its polished and ready to wear! All materials included in this workshop. Good for beginning and intermediate stitchers. Grab your friend and a traveler mug of hot coffee or tea and join us for an enjoyable morning of stitching in good company.

About the Instructor:
Cate the Funmaker is a Sacramento-area artist, crafter, and instructor who empowers and encourages others to explore their creativity without trepidation, no matter their level of prior experience. The transformative power of art is something we can all experience when we let go of perfection and enjoy the process. She is addicted to encaustic painting, Beemster gouda, and dogs.
