Tap into your creative side with this fun & unique art class! Under artist Cara Gregor’s guidance, you will experience the ultimate in self-expression and creation as you paint! As you explore, play, and put feelings on paper, you’ll create a beautiful piece of art with layers of paint and combinations of colors.
No drawing or prior painting experience is required! You’ll be painting in an abstract style, adding patterns, textures, and drips and dabs… whatever feels right to you! This class is offered in a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment for all levels of artist/ non-artist.
This is great for people new to Intuitive Abstract painting as well as those who have taken this class before!
We will supply all participants with an 8×10 canvas. Since this class is really open-ended, you can buy/bring your own acrylic paints & brushes. Make sure you have white in addition to the other acrylic paint colors of choice. We recommend paintbrushes in a few different sizes — medium to small– that are meant for acrylic paint.
Buy a Supply Kit: You also have the option of purchasing our $25 supply kit which will include a set of acrylic paints and a set of brushes. Add it to your registration and we’ll have it for you in class.
About Cara Gregor:
Cara Gregor is the artist behind Cara Emilia specializing in painting, illustration, and handmade jewelry. Cara is a self-taught, intuitive, artist living in Sacramento, California with her husband, Benjamin, and her little dog, Jacques Cousteau. Her work is inspired by bright colors (sometimes neon… most of the time at least a little pop of neon), bold, organic composition, nature, yoga, and adventures exploring this amazing planet. She aims to bring joy to others with her intuitive process, hoping to make this world just a bit brighter, a bit lighter, and much more fun.
