Curtis Fest Artisan Spotlight: Olive Swoon

Capturing the vibe of the neighborhood…

Chris Paulus, owner of Olive Swoon has been a Curtis Park resident since 2010 and a silkscreener since her Girl Scouts days in the 1970’s.

She primarily uses Sacramento’s neighborhoods and bicycles in her designs. All work is handmade by Chris with water based, environmentally safe ink onto totes, towels, shirts and pillows.

The 12th Annual Curtis Fest will feature over 75 local artisans under the beautiful canopy of trees at Curtis Park. Artists and makers include painters, sculptors, textile artists, and wood workers. Live music, food trucks, a petting zoo, children’s fairy and a pet refreshment station makes this a great way to finish out the summer.

This free event is open to the public and followed by Music the Park from 6-8pm. Don’t forget a picnic blanket and chairs to sit on while you watch the musicians or eat your food truck tasties from Culinerdy Cruzer, Kados Asian Grill, Masa Guiseria, and Cowtown Creamery.

Thank our sponsors for their support!
